My hair is wavy instead of full out curly, but i was the brush it 100 times a day, wash it every day until it was so dry and brittle...i was obsessed with it being straight

I got curly hair but im a weirdo, never done any of these things because I wanted to “wake up and go”. So I cut my hair short and never bothered to put stuff in my hair, just shampoo, conditioner, and I’m out and ready. Only brushed it when it was wet and when it needed brushing.

Ive gone through every on3 of these phases... but my "just a trip" phase was actually a "my mom doesnt want to take care of it so she shaved it all off before the school year started" phase. 😅

went through all these phases except the last one. im in the “my curls have heat damage and don’t curl in the back, never letting heat get near my hair ever again and i will keep taking care of my curly hair and hydrating it and using a defuser with low heat + heat protection” phase. that will eventually move on to rocking my natural 3b & 3c curls!

I went through ALL of these 😭I’m now actually takin care of it but also just letting it hang loose all day like no real styling unless I’m going somewhere, but I do wash and clean it correctly and put just enough product on during the day to keep me from looking frizzy

Im 43 and i still dont have my hair sorted... Im quite a few years in the bun it up and leave it phase, the worst thing to do so ill probably be sporting a bald look real soon 🤦‍♀️
